Teaching

Web pages for most of my courses are indexed at World Politics Courses at Marymount, except for the research design course (POL 250) which is here. The blog chronicling student engagement in events on and off campus is here.

In March 2018 I will take a group of students to Korea as part of the Spring 2018 section of POL 382 Politics of East Asia. I have previously taken students to Korea as well as the United Arab Emirates and France, and in January 2018 the Fall 2017 section of POL 360 Global Political Economy will travel to Vietnam.

In summer 2017 I have office hours only occasionally, in Ireton Hall, room G108. To meet me you must make an appointment. To see the schedule and make an appointment use this calendar. (You must be logged in to gmail or Marymount email. Scroll to the right to see future weeks.) If you do not make an appointment you are welcome to drop by but I cannot promise that I will be there. If you make an appointment but then cannot make it to that appointment, please email me to let me know. Any student who makes, and then misses, three or more appointments without cancelling them in advance will be permanently banned from making future appointments.

Feel free to email me at crector@marymount.edu with questions.

In general I advise students in the politics major interested in international affairs, and students in the international studies minor
